I have attempted and sucked at a lot of things in my life from windsurfing to wrapping Christmas presents to feigning interest in the words that come out of the mouths of boring people. But sucking at those things never bothered me because I didn't really try very hard at them nor did I care about the outcome. I mean who cares if I fell off an over accessorized surfboard or used an entire roll of scotch tape to wrap a shoebox or offended someone telling me about the time they went to a place I've never been with a person I don't know and did a thing that . . . excuse me I really have to take this call from proctologist.
This fantasy golf thing is, however, a different story. As pathetic as it sounds (and is), I take this rather seriously and last week's picks were downright embarrassing. How was this for a Tiger take . . . Tiger is overrated as usual with most having him with the fourth best odds behind the three favorites . . . when there is no way he should be ranked ahead of Spieth, Casey, Rickie Fowler and probably Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas, Day, Watson and Matsuyama. I'm pretty sure he ended-up beating almost every one of those guys. Nice call FGR.
Here's how bad it was. Someone actually offered to pay me if I would tout their gambling website and include a reference to Brooks Koepka being underrated but I didn't do it because I was so sure Koepka was going to be a non-factor that I didn't want to sacrifice my journalistic integrity by recommending him. Seriously. That happened. So I'm going to take a step back from the analysis this week and just lay the information out there so you can make your own decisions. I'm picking Webb Simpson for what it's worth because he's available and I don't see any other obvious places to use him later in the season.
And now . . . this.
@GOLFBABES TWEET OF THE WEEK
THIS WEEK'S ANALYSIS
As previously noted three seconds ago, we're taking the minimalist approach. There are a handful of guys who play this course really well on a regular basis. Pick some of them.
One and Done Pick: Webb Simpson
Other Guy I'd Pick: Bryson Dechambeau
Sleeper Pick: Luke Donald
DraftKings Top Ten Values
Below are those same ten guys along with forty others to consider. The most glaring omissions from my top ten are Kisner and Kuch. I'd also give Graeme McDowell some consideration. It's going to be sweater weather for at least part of the weekend in Hilton Head so conditions should be ideal for a guy in a douchy cardigan.

I know a guy who recently moved to Hilton Head. I wonder if he'll ever invite me to come down and play. |
