Fantasy Golf: The Cognizant Classic Preview

I decided to celebrate 2025's first day of good golf weather on Sunday with a pretty respectable round and a strong debut by my new/used putter followed by mid-level red wine bender. Since then I've been flirting with the flu and, judging by how I feel, I'm starting to suspect that she's got the names of all her dead ex-boyfriends tattooed on her inner thighs. 

Suffice it to say that the writing motivation isn't peaking at the moment but this website is one of my few thin tethers to sanity so we need to keep the streak going. Thank god it isn't Masters week. We will, however, strive for a Par 3 Contest caliber effort.    

WORK EXCHANGE OF THE WEEK

Frankly there are too many to choose from these days and several of them could end-up in litigation so we're going to apply some discretion. The last thing I need right now is to find myself sitting in a deposition and hear the words "I'd like to introduce a copy of the February 26, 2025 edition of something called the Fantasy Golf Report into the record." 

I will say that, if construction sites are an indication of the current temperature in the room, things are getting ready to blow. Let's try to keep it together people and not let this devolve into a Mad Max movie.  

GOLF ANALYSIS

This one isn't rocket science. Find the guys who've shown they can tolerate PGA National by posting some top tens and roll with them. Normally we abhor chalk and streaks but Shane Lowry has been automatic here since he started showing-up in 2020. The rest of the picks follow the aforementioned formula.
