Fantasy Golf: RBC Heritage Preview

It's going to be a thin preview this week because I'm still struggling to keep track of what day it is which makes meeting deadlines a bit of a challenge. For example, I just played golf on a Tuesday, made it feel like a Friday and now I feel like it's a Sunday. Meanwhile, it's Wednesday. I think.

HASTILY PREPARED GOLF ANALYSIS 

We get another mega loaded field this week as evidenced by Dustin Johnson's low low price of $8,500. Not that you'd want him at any price until he exhibits at least a faint golf pulse. Just stick to the Harbour Town formula of Webb Simpson/Matt Kuchar/Kevin Kisner type players. Then round it out with a Kevin Streelman and a Luke Donald to leave yourself some cap space for a high priced option like Collin Morikawa who's game looks like it will work anywhere and everywhere right now. 

We're also recommending GBWG because he really wants to validate his new behemoth approach and there would be no better place to do that than on a tight track like this. It may mean he has to hit a few 285 yard 4-irons off the tee but he'll find a way. You know it's really quite fitting that I have to make that left column below so wide to fit Bryson's big buffed-up name in it.

A lot of big names making rare appearances at Harbour Town as this is usually the post-Masters off week and guys don't want to go play a course where they have to grind all day. Especially one where bombing it is no advantage. Hopefully Rory can find a way to be in the mix to make it feel at least somewhat like Sunday at a major as we all unwrap our new useless golf gadgets at Father's Day dinner (just buy us a shirt).
